Name:[here] is a small 3-chapter story about what names mean to a Queer person, and to a Kinky person. It feels out the idea of choosing names, where they come from and how they feel inside the mind. Names are how we remember or know each other, they're inherently important, so why not redefine your name on your terms? In kink, a scene name can be a way of escaping into another world or a way of letting a version of you out, so why not give that name some deeper thought?

"Acorn peers through the list again. “Feather is a beautiful name. How does that feel for you?” Looking up at her partner with a genuine interest, a glee for more wandering thoughts from a brain that swims through them, sees the depth in them.

   Koi slowly settles on “I see lightness with it. It takes me upwards, flying, gliding.”  emphasising the light. She reads the name with a feeling that it is bright, a cool air like on an airplane. ‘Flow’ is kind of the same but has weight to it, she’d be pushing through water, a physical sensation compared to just the hair on her skin feeling it."
